The Ladies of “The Give Club”

     The Give Club of a local Lynchburg High School is officially the Miriam’s House volunteers of the month for February, 2012. The club managed to raise over $900 for Miriam’s House by hosting a dance for their friends to attend. Not only did they raise money for Miriam’s House, but they also helped increase awareness about homelessness amongst their peers and the community at large. The club was started by Carson Creasy and her friends who are all devoted to “doing what they can to help others with their talents and time”. These girls prove that “a little idea can have a big impact” on changing the lives of others with what they have achieved. The club was started with a seed idea of modeling for others what you hope your peers will emulate.  Since they started the club, the attendance has grown from a few many! Certainly, these girls should be examples not only to their peers but also to people that are far beyond their age. We are so appreciative of their efforts for Miriam’s House and this is why we are proud to call them our Volunteers for the month of February. Without a doubt, these girls will achieve remarkable things throughout their lives and this is merely the beginning! Congratulations
